The way to Reconditioning a Dry Battery on a Motorcycle
PREPARATION TOOLS:
First, remove the battery from your motorbike to carry out the tank repair.
STEP 2:
Use a digital meter to check the power remaining in the battery.
When measuring the electric current in the meter's contact flask, there are no current contacts in the cathode, so it is possible to know that the battery has been damaged and out of energy.
STEP 3:
To fix the jar, first remove the cover of the acid water vents.
Use a small cylinder to pump distilled water into the holes in the jar. Then check the electrical contact with the meter.
STEP 4:
After pumping distilled water into a bottle and waiting for a period of a few minutes for the solution to flow evenly into the bottle, discharge the electricity. Discharge the electricity by using a wired light bulb and then connect the two poles to discharge the power. This works to help push all the chemical parts after the time of accumulation at the two poles of discharge and reconcile into the bottle.
After such a discharge, the power source is tested again in the previous way by using an electronic clock that has two poles of the bottle. At this time, we will see that the power contact is better when splashing on the current. Carrying out such a discharge operation until the voltage measurement is about 0 volts, we have overcome the power source in the battery.
STEP 5:
If we proceed to charge and discharge as above still not very effective, then you use a transformer of 14v to load the polarity back into the tank, which is the negative pole of the transformer we connect to the battery anode and vice versa. Charging in such a few hours will improve the power in the kettle.
This method only temporarily restores the function of your motorcycle dry battery. The best way in the long term you still have to replace a new battery for motorbikes. Good luck!
